Jobs at meda

Join early. Shape a lot.

We're a small team in Munich, at UnternehmerTUM. We develop software that takes documentation off medical practices' hands and shows which services would otherwise never be billed. If you like to think from first principles, you'll fit in.

A letter from us

Dear future colleague.

We founded meda because good medicine should pay off for every practice. Today doctors and nurses (MFA) lose time to documentation every day, and services they have delivered are never billed.

We're still small. That means you work on a real problem, not a slice of one. You see how your work lands in practices. And you get to touch things no job description lists.

It also means not everything is finished. If that excites you rather than scares you, write to us.

Andrei, Aqid and PennyMunich

What you get

A small team. A big problem.

Responsibility from week one.

You own a piece that matters, with someone at your side.

Close to the practice.

Our work starts with doctors and nurses. You hear what they need.

In Munich's startup scene.

Our office is in UnternehmerTUM's Munich Urban Colab, surrounded by teams building their own companies.

Three worlds at one table.

Engineering, medicine and business sit together. You get to know all three.

Open roles

Four ways into the team.

  • No single role is posted right now. Apply through one of the four ways: we read every application.

Projects with ECTS credits, for example as a TUM project study or IDP.

Where we are

Munich, at UnternehmerTUM.

Our office is in UnternehmerTUM's Munich Urban Colab, among startup teams from all over Munich. We work flexibly, in the office and from home, and we love meeting in person. And Munich in summer is hard to beat.

How we work

We work the way meda works: with evidence.

Think from first principles.01

We ask why a rule exists before we turn it into software.

Every claim needs evidence.02

That's how our product works, and how we work. A number without a source is out.

Small means touching everything.03

Code today, a visit to a practice tomorrow. Looking beyond your own field is normal here.

The person who knows best makes the call.04

Not the one with the biggest title. It’s how meda works too: meda suggests, the doctor decides. Say openly what you think.

Take the work seriously. Not ourselves.05

We focus hard and laugh a lot. Both belong.

Questions

I don't see a role that fits. Should I still get in touch?

Yes. Write to jobs@mymeda.ai about what you can do and what you would like to do at meda. The founders read every speculative application.

Do you offer project studies and IDPs?

Yes, for TUM students, with ECTS credits. Tell us which format you are looking for.

Where does the team work?

In UnternehmerTUM's Munich Urban Colab in Munich. We work flexibly, in the office and from home, and we love meeting in person.

Do I need to speak German?

For medicine, sales and marketing, yes, fluently: we work for German medical practices, and the billing catalogs and our conversations with customers are in German. In engineering, German is a plus but not a requirement.

I study medicine. What would I do at meda?

You bring the view from the practice: how doctors and nurses work and what they need. That view goes straight into the product.

What does meda do?

meda writes the documentation from the consultation and finds the billing codes that would otherwise be missed. The practice team reviews, the doctor decides. More about meda.

Nothing that fits? Write to us anyway.
